Having worked in Truck and trailer sales and manufacturing, Paul Ferbrache brings with him many years of experience in the industry. “My knowledge of the Transport industry means I can come up with a solution to suit the client’s exacting needs,” says Paul. “Coming from a Engineering, mechanical and sales background, I understand how the products work and we can come up with something that suits the customer’s requirements. If they’ve got a load that needs covering a certain way, we’ll come up with a way to cover it for them.”
Tipper Tarps currently operates from its facility in Bayswater, Melbourne, Supplying up to 50 tarping systems to customers all over Australia each week. The company also has plans to open a new facility on the western side of Melbourne next year.
Tipper Tarps supplies a wide variety of products that include pull out tarps, sliding bow tarps, roll over tarps, pivot arm tarps and side tipper tarps, as well as specialised load covering systems to suit customer requirements. Manual, electric, hydraulic and pneumatic options are also available.
Pull out tarps are one of Tipper Tarps’ most economical ground operated tarping systems. This one size fits all design features an extruded aluminium cover (optional steel cover also available) and suits truck and three axle dog trailers, with longer lengths available on request.
For water sensitive loads such as grain or fertiliser, roll over tarps are well suited. These tarps form a tight covering around the trailer that ensures no water or liquid reaches the load. Tipper Tarps’ roll over tarp kits include a high tensile extended aluminium roll pipe, front assistance, a heavy-duty fully reinforced 900gsm PVC tarp, quick release unit, stainless steel adapter shaft, extendible handles and flexible tarp bows with varying options including, automatic options, Gearbox handles and Flip Over Centre Bows to name a few.
“Tipper Tarps has developed a reputation for quality and durability, sourcing only the best materials and components. At Tipper Tarps, we have one of the largest ranges of tarps and load covering equipment in Australia and we will continue adding new and innovative products to our offering,” says Paul “There are some exciting times ahead and the company will only continue to grow even further.”
While Tipper Tarps is currently operated solely from Victoria, distributing its products to customers all over Australia – from transport operators and OEM trailer manufacturers, to shire councils and mines – plans are currently underway for the company to increase its dealers and fitting offices nationally.
